16750 Highway 64 Building Renovation, Somerville, Tennessee

Bid Information:

The Town of Somerville, Tennessee will receive sealed bids for the 16750 HIGHWAY 64 MUSEUM RENOVATION PROJECT until 11:00 AM ON THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 2023, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. A pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday February 2, 2023 AT 10:00 AM AT 16750 HIGHWAY 64, SOMERVILLE (the site of the project) for anyone interested in bidding on this project. Bids are to be addressed to the City Administrator and delivered to the Town of Somerville, P.O. Box 909, 13085 N. Main St., Somerville, Tennessee 38068.

There will be a Pre-Bid Meeting On February 2, 2023 at 10:00 AM at the site of the project.

Project Description:

The project for the “16750 HIGHWAY 64 BUILDING RENOVATION PROJECT” shall stabilize and support the entire building structure including exterior masonry walls, floors and roof. The work will demolish interior walls, ceilings, and finishes to create a gallery space within the east bay of the structure. The interior renovation of the east gallery space will include all new interior finishes, painting, flooring, electricity, HVAC, lighting, two (2) ADA bathrooms, prep and a storage area. The base bid scope of work includes demolition of interior walls, finishes, floor framing and pour new concrete slab, along with plumbing rough-in to create a shell future tenant space within the west bay of the structure.

The project also includes an Alternate Bid #1 for the removal and replacement of all ground floor doors and windows on the entire building’s north façade per the construction documents per the construction documents. Alternate #2 bid work for the project consists of constructing, installing and finishing new hall and restroom spaces in the west bay of the building.
