Sylacauga - Lee Merkel Field Airport

Bid Information:

Separate sealed BIDS for the construction of IMPROVEMENTS TO LEE MERKEL FIELD AIRPORT will be received by the City Of Sylacauga, Alabama, hereinafter referred to as the OWNER, at City Hall in the Mayor’s conference room on the second floor until 10:30 A.M., local time, Wednesday, May 15, 2024. BIDS will then be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after this time will not be accepted and will be returned unopened.

Printed and digital copies of bidding Documents may be obtained from https://bidding.bargedesign.com/. For questions about ordering documents, call Memphis Reprographics at 901-381-9811. Call prior to picking up documents to ensure availability. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available directly from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of bidding Documents including Addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. No part of the purchase will be refunded.

Pre-Bid Information:

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, May 2, 2024, in the airport terminal building. Due to the importance of all bidders having a clear understanding of the scope and requirements for this contract, it is recommended that bidders attend this meeting. Any changes that may be agreed upon as a result of this meeting will be noted in an addendum sent to all plan holders.
