Bid Information:

Sealed bids for the Montgomery County Highway Department Facility (at 1213 Highway Drive, Clarksville, TN, 37040) will be received by Shannon Holt, Interim Purchasing Agent, Montgomery County Purchasing at 350 Pageant Lane, Suite 101-E, Clarksville, TN 37040 until 2:00 P.M. (C.S.T.) on Thursday April 11, 2024.

All Bidders must be licensed Contractors in the State of Tennessee in strict accordance with State regulations. No bid will be opened unless the outside of the sealed envelope containing the bid provides the following information: the Contractor’s name, address, and license number; the date of the license expiration; and a quotation of that part of the license classification applicable to the bid.

A pre-bid meeting will be held at the Montgomery County William O. Beach Civic Hall, located at 350 Pageant Ln Suite 201, Clarksville, TN 37040 on Tuesday, March 12, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. (C.S.T). The meeting will be followed by a site visit at the site which is across the street.

Requests for interpretation of the Bidding Documents are due at least six (6) business days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids.

The envelopes containing the bids must be sealed, addressed to Stephanie P. Morlock, Purchasing Agent, Montgomery County Purchasing, 350 Pageant Lane, Suite 101-E, Clarksville, Tennessee, 37040, and designated as bid for Montgomery County Highway Department Facility.

Alternatively, electronic submission is available via email to mocobids@mcgtn.net. You will receive confirmation of your electronic submission upon receipt. Actual email shall not be opened until posted time of opening. Subject title shall be Bid-Montgomery County Highway Department Facility.

The Owner may consider informal any bid not prepared and submitted in accordance with the provisions hereof and may waive any informalities or reject any and all bids. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. No bidder may withdraw a bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the bid opening.
