MKL Runway 2-20 Reconstruction

Separate sealed BIDS for the Runway 2-20 Reconstruction will be received by the the McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport by the Jackson-Madison County Airport Authority (OWNER), until 2:00 P.M. local time, Wednesday, May 24th, 2023. BIDS will then be publicly opened and read aloud. BIDS received after this time will not be accepted and will be returned unopened.

BIDS shall include all pages and completed forms included in the Bidding Documents Section and submitted in an opaque sealed envelope clearly identified on the outside as follows:

SUBMITTED BY: (Name of Bidder with Bidder's Current TN Contractor’s License No.)

The BID shall be addressed to: Mr. Steve Smith, Jackson-Madison County Airport Authority, 308 Grady Montgomery Drive, Jackson, Tennessee 38301, and marked for which project the proposal pertains. Also, the Contractor’s name, classification, address, license number, expiration date and date & time of the bid opening shall be indicated on the envelope. BIDS submitted by mail shall be registered.

The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all BIDS, to waive any formalities or irregularities in the BIDS received, and to accept the BID which is deemed most favorable to the OWNER at the time and under the conditions stipulated. The Jackson-Madison County Airport Authority does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, color, national origin, sex, religion or handicap status in employment or the provisions of services.

Pre-Bid Information:

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 2:00 P.M. local time, Tuesday, April 25th 2023, at the McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport, 308 Grady Montgomery Drive, Jackson, Tennessee 38301. Attendance at this conference by the prime contractor is mandatory in order to be eligible to submit a bid.
