Sealed bids will be received at the Office of the Shelby County Emergency Communications District, 3150 Lenox Park Blvd., Suite 108, Memphis, TN 38115, until 2:00 p.m., May 5, 2021.
Public Bid Opening will commence at approximately 2:00 P.M. at the same location.

Pre-Bid Information:
A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 11:00 am CST at 201 Poplar Avenue, 12th Floor, Memphis, TN 38103.All parties interested in bidding on this project are hereby invited and urged to attend this meeting. Failure to attend the Pre-Bid meeting will count against said “good faith effort” as required by the M/WBE program.
Examination of Site:
Before submitting a bid, the bidder shall personally visit the site of proposed work and arrive at a clear understanding of the conditions under which the work is to be performed. No consideration will be allowed subsequently by reason of error or oversight on the part of the bidder or on account of interference by either Shelby County Emergency Communications District or existing conditions. Neglecting any of the above requirements will not be acceptable as reason for delay in the work or for adjustments of the contract sum.
Project Description:
The Project consists of renovations to the MPD Emergency Communications Bureau at 201 Poplar, 12th Floor, Memphis, TN 38103.
The contractor will have access to the site 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Shelby County Emergency Communication District fully understands that this work may require working periods of 24 hours, 7 day weeks. The contractor will have to work with and coordinate with the existing Emergency Communications Center that will remain operational during construction. This project cannot interrupt or interfere with MPD/911 operations.
