Hills Construction, LLC. is renovating an abandoned manufacturing facility in Water Valley, MS. The gross area of the space is approximately 65,000 square feet. The building is on the National Registrar of Historic Buildings and compliance with their regulations is required. The facility will be constructed with three separate HVAC and plumbing systems that will be divided by the areas each tenant will occupy: Base Camp Coding Academy, Northwest Community College, and a shell space for future offices. All HVAC equipment must meet the Tennessee Valley Authority’s minimum energy efficiency requirements for their energy rebate. The design build team shall include a licensed mechanical engineer registered in the state of Mississippi. All design documents shall be sealed by this engineer. HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems are described below with additional equipment information in the mechanical plans.
