United Housing Inc. will move their operations to 2509 Harvard Avenue upon completion of this construction build-out. The existing structure of the building will remain with the scope focusing on minimal exterior improvements (entry sequence, new fire stair, new awnings, reworked parking lot, portion of replacement windows, etc.) and interior build out. There is a commercial kitchen that will be removed on the main level to make way for a classroom, more residential style break room, and offices. The second level is being built out with offices and meeting spaces. Bathroom infrastructure will all remain with the main level bathrooms remaining as they currently are. New HVAC and electrical systems were put in place in a 2018/9 renovation and one new HVAC unit is being added for the classroom capacity.
