Separate sealed BIDS for the PARALLEL TAXIWAY REHABILITATION will be received by the The City of Albertville, Albertville, Alabama hereinafter referred to as the OWNER, at the Albertville Regional Airport Terminal Building located at 300 Aldridge Drive, Albertville, Alabama 35950 until 10:00 A.M. local time, Tuesday, June 13th, 2023. BIDS will then be publicly opened and read aloud. BIDS received after this time will not be accepted and will be returned unopened.

Scope of work, contract time, and liquidated damages are as follows:

PARALLEL TAXIWAY REHABILITATION

Contract time of FORTY-FIVE (45) calendar days

Liquidated damages are set at $2,000.00 per calendar day that the project remains incomplete after the specified completion time.

Call prior to picking up documents to ensure availability. Partial sets of the Bidding Documents will not be available directly from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of bidding documents including addenda, if any are obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. No part of the purchase will be refunded.

The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all BIDS, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the BIDS received, and to accept the BID which is deemed most favorable to the OWNER at the time and under the conditions stipulated.

Pre-Bid Information:

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 6th, 2023 in the Airport Terminal conference room. Due to the importance of all bidders having a clear understanding of the scope and requirements for this contract, it is highly recommended that bidders attend this meeting. Any changes that may be agreed upon as a result of this meeting will be noted in an addendum sent to all plan holders.
