Project Description:
A. Base Bid: All work associated with site preparation, including but not limited to erosion control, demolition, vegetation removal, and pressure washing existing concrete to remain. Construction will include storm system modifications, concrete staining, new concrete sidewalks and plaza, concrete curbing/wall, site lighting and power pedestals, landscaping and irrigation. Construction will include other improvements or testing necessary and incidental to the noted project and shall be per the drawings and specifications.
B. Add Alternate No. 1 – Site Furnishings: All work associated with providing, assembling and installing site furnishings including benches, trash receptacles, tables and chairs. Construction will include other improvements necessary and incidental to the noted alternate and shall be per the drawings and specifications.

During the Pre-Bid meeting, the OWNER will provide each Bidder access to the site to conduct such investigations as each Bidder deems necessary to acquaint himself with the existing conditions there relating to construction and labor, the facilities involved and any difficulties or restrictions in conjunction with the performance of the Contract.
Questions:
A. Bidders shall submit questions about bidding documents to Designer in writing. Replies will be issued to Bidders of Record by addenda and will become part of Contract Documents. Designer and Owner will not make oral clarifications.
B. Questions shall be received by Designer at least six calendar days before bid opening date.
C. Normal practice is that no addenda affecting pricing will be issued less than three calendar days before bid opening date.
