Bid Information:
The Sikeston R-6 School District will receive Bid for the following bid for the above referenced project. Submit sealed bid for the K-Center Safe Room/Multi-Purpose Building to the Sikeston R-6 Board of Education, 1002 Virginia St., Sikeston, Missouri 63801. All bids must be received on or before 2:00 p.m. (local time), October 14, 2021. Bids received after this time will not be accepted.

Pre-Bid Information:
A Pre-bid meeting will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 located at K-Center, 1310 E. Salcedo Road, Sikeston, MO.
Meet the Potential General Contractor Event 3:30 p.m. will be held in the LIBRARY of the K Center, 1310 E. Salcedo Road, Sikeston MO 63801. Please note parking will be limited.
Project Description:
The Project consists of the construction of a one-story, 4,629 SF safe space building that is primarily constructed of fully reinforced and grouted 12” concrete block and brick construction with steel beams, metal deck, concrete on metal deck, roof insulation w/ white fully adhered TPO roof. The building contains an entry lobby, restrooms, auditorium, a platform, storage, office, and utility closets. The building is supported by a generator in its own protected enclosure. FEMA compliance required. Schedule of values shall include breakout of FEMA Eligible and Ineligible Building systems and components.
