INVITATION FOR BIDS:
The Sheffield Housing Authority of Sheffield, Alabama, hereafter called the “Public Housing Agency” or PHA, will receive sealed bids for the New Office Building and Parking al the Manning Romes Site of Sheffield Housing Authority. until 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 28, 2020 at the office of the PHA located at 505 North Columbia Avenue. Sheffield, Alabama 35660, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The estimated construction cost of the project is between $165,000 and $185,000.

ANY BID RECEIVED AFTER THE CLOSING TIME WILL NOT BE OPENED.

WALK THROUGH AND PRE-BID CONFERENCE:
At 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2020 a Prebid Conference will be held at 505 North Columbia Avenue, in Sheffield, Alabama for the purpose of answering questions Bidders may have and to consider any suggestions they may wish to make concerning the project. Immediately following the Prebid Conference, a walkthrough of the project will be held by the Owner. All Contractors are strongly recommended to attend this walk through and pre-bid conference.

In order to be a qualified bidder, bidding documents must be obtained from the plan room. There is no cost associated with viewing or downloading an electronic copy of the plans and project manual.
